Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his wife visites the grave of Heydar Aliyev

When the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Baku, the national leader of the people of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, visited Fakhr Avenue, where he has always settled.  This was reported by the President’s press service.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev was accompanied by his wife Ziroat Mirziyoyeva.

Heydar Aliyev’s services in establishing and strengthening independent Azerbaijan are incomparable.  The period of rapid development of the country and the rise of its prestige in the international arena are connected with its name.

“Haydar Aliyev, who has always paid special attention to strengthening friendly relations with the brotherly Uzbek people, is well known in our country.  His centenary was widely celebrated in Uzbekistan.  In this regard, postage stamps were printed, and various cultural, educational and scientific events were held,” the report said.

A street named after the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, an avenue and a monument dedicated to him were opened in Tashkent.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev paid tribute to the great state and political figure Heydar Aliyev by laying flowers on his grave.
