Currently, five active projects are focused on enhancing the legal framework and capacity of national institutions, as well as advancing nuclear science, medicine, and other sectors.
President Mirziyoyev commended the outcomes of the IAEA delegation's engagements with various Uzbek ministries, departments, and scientific institutions. He highlighted the significance of the International Conference on the Use of Atomic Energy, scheduled for December 5 in Samarkand, which is being jointly organized with the participation of leading international experts.
Priority areas of collaboration include strengthening the capabilities of national agencies, training highly qualified specialists under IAEA programs, and launching initiatives in nuclear energy, agriculture, water resource management, healthcare, and environmental protection.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to develop a joint "road map" aimed at broadening cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear technologies.
