Shavkat Mirziyoyev to visit Azerbaijan today

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Baku on May 17-18 at the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the Uzbek leader’s press service reported.
According to the report, the President of Uzbekistan will attend and address the Leaders’ Summit of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum, held under the auspices of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme.
The forum is dedicated to issues including sustainable urban development, affordable housing, improving the quality of the urban environment, climate resilience, and improving housing finance mechanisms.
A number of meetings and talks with heads of foreign delegations are also planned as part of the visit.
