Shavkat Mirziyoyev receives UAE delegation

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the United Arab Emirates led by Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure. The presidential press service reported this.

According to the report, at the beginning of the conversation, the minister conveyed greetings and best wishes to the Head of State from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

It was separately noted that Uzbekistan-UAE strategic partnership relations are developing dynamically.

Trade turnover and investment volumes are increasing, as is the number of joint ventures. It was emphasized that a number of new agreements with UAE companies are expected to be signed as part of the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum.

The parties agreed to accelerate major projects in green energy, fuel production, transport, logistics, artificial intelligence, digitalization and other areas.

Earlier, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov as part of the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum.
