Yesterday, on July 23, a fire broke out in the cemetery located in Koshrabot district of Samarkand region. This was reported by the press service of the regional emergency department.
It is noted that on July 23, at 12:08 a.m., a fire broke out in the “Bubak Ota” cemetery located in the “Korolos” neighborhood of the Koshrabot district of the Samarkand region. 2 fire-rescue crews were involved in the scene. The fire was completely extinguished at 1:29 p.m.
“As a result of the fire, the grass on the area of about 3 hectares of the cemetery was set on fire. “There were no casualties or injuries as a result of the incident,” the report said.
An investigation is currently underway.
