Saidov meets with Meloni in Italy

Today, October 15, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met in Rome with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Saidov shared the news on his Telegram channel.

’’During our visit to Rome, we held a sincere and meaningful dialogue with Her Excellency Giorgia Meloni,’’ Saidov said.

He noted that the meeting highlighted the positive momentum in the development of strategic partnership relations between Uzbekistan and Italy.

’’We once again confirmed our mutual commitment to expanding cooperation across all areas. Italy holds a special place as one of Uzbekistan’s closest partners in Europe. We will continue to further develop our partnership based on the principles of trust, friendship, and dedication to progress,’’ the Uzbek Foreign Minister added.

It is worth noting that Saidov previously took part in the ’’Aqaba Process 2025’’ meeting held in Rome. The event brought together heads of state, ministers, and high-ranking officials to exchange views on pressing global and regional security issues.
