6002A 23-year-old Uzbek national has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for selling synthetic drugs in Russia, according to "Gazeta.ru."
During a series of search operations, the Narcotics Control Department of the Astrakhan Regional Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs identified several suspects involved in illegal drug sales. Among those apprehended in the Stavropol Territory and taken to Astrakhan were three individuals from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.

A search of the man's residence uncovered 300 grams of narcotics.
The court sentenced him to 20 years in a high-security penal colony.
Earlier, in Kyrgyzstan, authorities dismantled an international drug trafficking gang that had been facilitating the supply of drugs from Tajikistan.
