"Roma" is reportedly looking to loan out Uzbek striker Eldor Shomurodov, according to "Corriere della Sera".

The 29-year-old forward is reportedly close to joining "Empoli" on a loan deal. "Empoli" has shown long-term interest in Shomurodov, who is not part of Roma coach Claudio Ranieri’s plans for this season.

Apart from "Empoli", "Cagliari", "Parma", and "Venezia" have also expressed interest in signing the striker.

Shomurodov has made 62 appearances for "Roma", scoring 8 goals and providing 7 assists. The player, currently valued at €4 million by "Transfermarkt", is under contract with the club until the summer of 2026.

It is worth noting that "Cagliari" was previously reported to have shown significant interest in securing Shomurodov’s services.
