Ravshan Haydarov takes charge of Uzbekistan’s U-23 squad

Renowned Uzbek coach Ravshan Haydarov has been officially appointed as the head coach of Uzbekistan’s U-23 national football team. The announcement was made by the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) press service.

During a meeting of the UFA coaching council, candidates for the U-23 team’s leadership were discussed. Haydarov, recognized as one of Uzbekistan’s most experienced specialists in working with youth teams, was nominated and approved by the leadership. He holds the honorary title of “Honored Sports Coach of the Republic of Uzbekistan.”

Notably, the 63-year-old coach has led various youth teams to significant achievements, including two Asian Championship titles and participation in two FIFA World Cups.
