President departs for Surkhandarya

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for the Surkhandarya region today, February 26, the presidential press service reported.
The extensive program of the visit includes reviewing ongoing development projects in the region, as well as initiatives in industry, agriculture and water management, construction, and the social sector. The President is also expected to launch several new facilities.
On February 27, the head of state will hold a meeting on the next priority tasks for the comprehensive development of the Surkhandarya region.
