2663Earlier, a circus performance featuring Central Asian cobras was organized for children at State Preschool Educational Institution No. 7 in the Piskent district of the Tashkent region. The individual who performed with the snakes has been punished. This was reported by the “Millar” program.
The day of the performance, kindergarten staff shared a video of the show in a Telegram group for parents. After seeing the video, the grandmother of one of the children filed a complaint with the Department of Internal Affairs regarding the situation.
It was revealed that the performance was organized by an employee of the “Tashkent” amateur circus group, part of the “Kumush Diyor” private enterprise in Almalyk. At the beginning of the school year, this individual submitted a request to the district Department of Preschool and School Education for permission to hold circus performances at local educational institutions. The authorities granted approval based on the proposed program, which did not mention animal acts. However, on January 16, the performer, H.A., showcased dangerous acts involving animals at the kindergarten, putting the children’s safety at risk.
The deputy head of the department, who approved the request, did so without thoroughly reviewing the program and has since been dismissed for negligence.
H.A. was found guilty under Article 200-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (Violation of Public Event Rules) and fined 10 times the Basic Calculation Amount, totaling 3,750,000 sums. His accomplice was also fined.
For context, in October 2024, a similar incident occurred in the Kushrabot district, where citizens from the Ishtikhan district in Samarkand region organized a circus performance with a boa constrictor at a preschool institution.
