On September 6, the women’s shot put competition in the F12 class of para-athletics concluded at the Paralympics.
Safiya Burhonova of Uzbekistan, who competed in this event, achieved a result of 14.12 meters, earning the sixth silver medal for the Uzbek delegation.
For context, Safiya Burhonova previously won a silver medal at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games and a gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
