Mirziyoyev's visit to Baku was concluded

1653President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s official visit to Azerbaijan has concluded, as reported by the President's press service.
On November 12, President Mirziyoyev addressed the World Leaders Summit during the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Climate Change Convention (COP29), presenting key initiatives for collaborative action against climate change.
Throughout the summit, President Mirziyoyev met with notable figures, including European Council President Charles Michel, Finland's President Alexander Stubb, Montenegro's President Jakov Milatović, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development President Odile Renaud-Basso, Islamic Development Bank President Muhammad Al Jasser, ICESCO CEO Salim Al-Malik, Green Climate Fund Executive Director Mafalda Duarte, and Tony Blair, former UK Prime Minister and Chairman of the Institute for Global Change.
On November 13, the second day of the visit, President Mirziyoyev attended the signing ceremony for a trilateral agreement between Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan focused on a strategic partnership in green energy development and transmission.
He also met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, with whom he inaugurated a joint manufacturing facility. Additional meetings were held with Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, and Global Environment Facility Director Carlos Rodríguez.
President Mirziyoyev further visited Uzbekistan's National Pavilion at COP29.
After concluding his visit, the President departed for Tashkent. He and the First Lady were seen off at Heydar Aliyev International Airport by Azerbaijan's Minister of Justice, Farid Akhmedov, and other officials.
