Mirziyoyev sends congratulations to Xi Jinping

The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping on the success of the 20th Congress of the Communist Party of China and his re-election as the General Secretary of the Party's Central Committee.  Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov provided information about this.

"The People's Republic of China has been making unprecedented progress under your leadership. Your far-sighted and wise policy, and the wide-scale reforms you are carrying out, primarily serve to fundamentally improve the lifestyle of the Chinese people and strengthen the sustainable development of the country," - the congratulation letter says.

The President of Uzbekistan expressed confidence that the new plans announced by Xi Jinping, and all the initiatives put forward will make a significant contribution to the prosperity of the Chinese state and will further increase its international prestige.

It was also noted that today China has become the leading trade partner of Uzbekistan, and multifaceted cooperation between the countries is rapidly developing in all areas.

"I express my readiness to continue friendly and open dialogues with you. I am sure that in the future, we will definitely take Uzbekistan-China mutually beneficial relations to greater heights with our joint efforts.", - the official report said.

In addition, Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished Xi Jinping good health, family happiness, new victories in responsible statecraft, peace, and continued prosperity for the Chinese people.
