Mirziyoyev departs for Samarkand

Today, August 25, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, departed for the city of Samarkand, the President’s press service reported.
It was noted that on August 25–26, King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan.
The high-level talks in Samarkand will address issues of developing political, trade-economic, and investment cooperation.
It is worth noting that earlier, it was reported that King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein of Jordan would pay a state visit to Uzbekistan on August 25–26 at the invitation of Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
