Mirziyoyev receives Rosenblum, who is completing his duties

On 7 September, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of the Republic of Uzbekistan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America Daniel Rosenblum, who is completing his diplomatic mission in the country.

At the meeting, the Head of State noted the contribution of Daniel Rosenblum to the development of Uzbek-American relations of strategic partnership.

In the following years, a constructive political dialogue was established.  Joint efforts are expanding mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation.  The volume of mutual trade is growing, and a number of investment projects with the participation of leading US companies are being implemented.  Bilateral programs in education and health are being introduced.

According to a decree of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan, adopted in August of the current year, the American diplomat was awarded the highest state award of our country - the Order of “Friendship”.

The US Ambassador expressed sincere gratitude for the high appreciation of his work and noted that he will continue to actively support the strengthening of multilateral cooperation between the two countries.
