Mirziyoyev to visit France at Macron's invitation

At the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron, Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to France from March 11 to 13, 2025. This was announced by the press service of the President.

During the visit, high-level negotiations and various events are scheduled to take place in Paris, including meetings with French officials and business leaders.

The discussions will focus on further developing and strengthening the multifaceted Uzbek-French relationship. Special attention will be given to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, economics, investment, and finance, as well as promoting joint projects with leading French companies.

At the conclusion of the visit, a series of intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements are expected to be signed.

In addition, President Mirziyoyev will meet with UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay to discuss preparations for the 43rd session of the organization's General Conference, which will be held in Samarkand in the fall of this year.

The report also highlighted, "Several events are taking place ahead of the visit. On March 1, a monument of the great scholar Abu Rayhan Beruni was unveiled at the Uranoscope Observatory in Graetz-Armenville."

Furthermore, forums and conferences are currently being held in Paris, focusing on healthcare, science, education, culture, tourism, and business. Joint business events will also take place in Toulouse, Lyon, and Nice.
