The Foreign Labor Migration Agency of Uzbekistan once again issued a serious warning to citizens of Uzbekistan who are temporarily working in the territory of the Russian Federation.

"We ask you not to follow calls for involvement in conflict areas between Russia and Ukraine, not to go to conflict areas, and not to participate in military operations," the message on the agency's Telegram page says.

A spokesman of the Foreign Labor Migration Agency, Ortiqkhoja Norov, told QALAMPIR.UZ calls to recruit migrants to war are often observed.

For example, "Novaya Gazeta. Evropa" writes that in September, more than 40 foreign citizens from Russia's 17th colony in Mordovia were sent to fight in Ukraine.

It is written that Bakhtiyor Kuvandikov, Kurolbek Kochkarov, Islambek Sobirov, Azamat Zulunov, Sardor Zakirov, and Nasimkhan Movlonov are among them.

Also, 50 citizens of Uzbekistan received a summons from the military recruitment office in Oryol.

Artikkhoja Norov added that the agency is currently monitoring these cases.

For information, in Article 154 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, recruitment to the military service, security, police, military justice bodies, or other similar bodies of foreign countries is subject to imprisonment for three to five years or deprivation of liberty for three to five years.
