Autumn starts with dry, breezy weather across Uzbekistan

Uzhydromet has released its weather forecast for Sunday, September 1, marking the first day of autumn in Uzbekistan.

In Tashkent, the weather will be partly cloudy, with no precipitation expected. Winds will blow from the northeast at speeds of 3 to 8 meters per second. Temperatures will drop to 13–15 degrees Celsius at night and rise to 30–32 degrees during the day.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, partly cloudy and dry weather is expected. Winds from the northeast may reach speeds of 7 to 12 meters per second, occasionally increasing to 13–18 meters per second with dust. Temperatures will range from 13–18 degrees at night to 27–32 degrees during the day.

In the Bukhara and Navoi regions, skies will also be partly cloudy, with no rain forecast. Northeasterly winds may reach 7–12 meters per second, strengthening to 13–18 meters per second in some areas and up to 20–23 meters per second with dust storms. Nighttime temperatures will be 13–18 degrees, rising to 28–33 degrees during the day.

In the Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions, partly cloudy skies will persist. Winds will blow from the northeast at 7–12 meters per second, strengthening in places to 13–18 and occasionally 20–23 meters per second, bringing dust. Temperatures will range from 13–18 degrees at night to 28–33 degrees during the day.

The Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions will see partly cloudy skies and dry conditions, with winds from the northeast at 7–12 meters per second. Nighttime temperatures will be between 16–21 degrees, while daytime highs will reach 31–36 degrees.

In the Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, partly cloudy and dry weather is also expected. Winds will shift from the east to the northeast at 5–10 meters per second. Nighttime temperatures will range from 13–18 degrees, with daytime highs of 28–33 degrees.

In Uzbekistan’s mountainous areas, partly cloudy skies will prevail, with winds from the northeast at 7–12 meters per second, increasing in places to 13–18 meters per second. Night temperatures will be between 9–14 degrees, with daytime highs of 20–25 degrees.
