About 2 million maternity pensions are paid to female employees of private organizations

Arrangements have been made by the State to pay maternity benefits to female employees of a private organization.  Following a decision made by the Cabinet of Ministers yesterday 20 September, the regulation about the assignment and payment of maternity benefits under the State social insurance was approved.

The regulation establishes the procedure for the payment of maternity benefits to women who have worked continuously for six months in all legal entities except budgetary organizations.

The allowance is paid out of the Social Insurance Fund in the amount of 4 times the minimum consumption expenditure (1 million 992 thousand som) before the birth of the child.

Accordingly, the obligation of legal persons to pay the benefit is reduced by the amount of the benefit paid from the Fund.

The incapacity sheet is the basis for the assignment and payment of benefits.  Within 5 working days from the issue of the disability leaflet, the information is entered into the «Medicine» system by the responsible medical worker, and the information is sent to the «Unified Register» system.

The «Unified Register» system sends an SMS message to the recipient’s phone with the decision either granting or refusing the privilege and its justification.  The pension will be transferred to the recipient’s plastic card until the 10th of the month.  If there is no plastic card, it will be issued in cash until the 27th of the month.
