All employees of public reception centers dismissed

All employees of public reception centers will be dismissed from their positions starting today, June 16. They will be replaced by selfless individuals capable of solving people’s problems. This was announced during a videoconference chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, which focused on the effectiveness of ongoing reforms, regional progress, and addressing public concerns.

“The public reception system has become nothing more than a dispatcher that redirects appeals to other government agencies, instead of listening to the people and resolving their issues,” the President said.

Last year, 55 percent of appeals submitted to virtual and physical public reception centers were not resolved satisfactorily. As a result, the number of complaints on social media has increased sharply. The majority of these are directed at law enforcement and judicial bodies, khokimiyats, the education system, and environmental authorities. Around 1,000 appeals requested a personal meeting with the President.

“When was the last time governors analyzed the rise in complaints against officials in Tashkent and Bukhara? If ministers and governors do not resolve these issues, who are the people supposed to turn to?

We must remember that every complaint reflects someone’s life, pain, and hope,” the President emphasized.

In light of these shortcomings, it was decided to dismiss all current employees of the People’s Reception Offices. They will be replaced by dedicated staff capable of taking real action.

From now on, regional and district governors will personally lead the People’s Reception Offices. Each day, they will begin their work by listening to the concerns of the public.

“Governors must understand one thing: today’s problems cannot be postponed until tomorrow. Complaints must be addressed on the spot, without referring them to another agency,” the President said.

To support this, the authority of district governors will be expanded, and additional resources will be allocated to help resolve issues efficiently.
