Construction Ministry building purchased by real estate developer

The administrative building previously owned by the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services has been sold through the e-auksion electronic auction platform. Located at 6 Abay Street in Tashkent’s Shaykhontohur district, the building was sold for 182.5 billion soums.
According to the auction results, the property was purchased by O‘zshahar Qurilish Invest LLC. Earlier, reports had circulated that the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services would relocate to New Tashkent. However, there has so far been no official confirmation that the ministry has fully moved to the new city.
Open-source information indicates that O‘zshahar Qurilish Invest LLC is currently implementing several large-scale residential construction projects in the capital.
