Ilham Aliyev arrives in Tashkent

Today, on November 15, at the invitation of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Tashkent on an official visit to participate as an honorary guest in the seventh Consultation Meeting of Central Asian leaders, the Uzbek National News Agency (UzA) reported.
According to the report, the high-ranking guest was welcomed at Tashkent–Humo International Airport by Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and other officials.
For reference, on November 15–16, the seventh Consultation Meeting of Central Asian leaders, chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will be held in Tashkent.
The summit agenda includes strengthening regional cooperation in Central Asia, implementing joint projects and initiatives in priority areas, and exchanging views on current regional and international political issues.
