What kind of weather awaits Uzbeks in February?

Uzhydromet has released the weather forecast for February 2025, detailing what residents can expect throughout the month.

February will start with dry conditions, lasting for the first 6-7 days. During this period, nighttime temperatures will range between 0-5°C, while daytime temperatures will hover around 3-8°C. By February 6-7, the weather is expected to warm up, with daytime temperatures reaching 12-15°C, and slightly cooler conditions in the north, where temperatures will range from 5-8°C.

From mid-month onward, temperatures will fluctuate between mild and cold. Nighttime temperatures are expected to range from 2-7°C above freezing, dropping to between 3-8°C below freezing in colder periods. Daytime highs will vary between 10-15°C early in the month, cooling to 0-5°C later on. In the northern regions, expect temperatures to range from 2°C below freezing to 3°C above freezing at night, and between 5-10°C during the day.

Precipitation is expected during the month, with rain likely in the first ten days of February. During the second and third ten-day periods, 2-3 days of rain and snow are anticipated each period. However, the overall amount of precipitation will not exceed the long-term monthly average.

On average, February is expected to be 2-2.5°C warmer than January, and about 1-1.5°C warmer in mountainous areas.
