A magnitude 4 earthquake occurred in Uzbekistan on June 24. The Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring reported this.

It was noted that the earthquake occurred at 9:07 p.m. Its magnitude was 4, with a depth of 13 kilometers. The epicenter was in the city of Kuvasoy, located 251 kilometers southwest of Tashkent. Its coordinates were 40.31 degrees north latitude and 71.92 degrees east longitude.

The intensity of the earthquake felt in Uzbekistan was as follows:

  • Fergana region: 3-4 points, 14 kilometers;
  • Andijan region: 2 points, 63 kilometers.
