A criminal case has been launched against an individual found possessing illegal weapons in Ferghana

Authorities in Ferghana identified an individual in possession of illegal weapons, as reported by the Regional Department of Internal Affairs.

During a search of Q.M.'s apartment, located in the "Qoshqayron" neighborhood area of Rishton district, one 12-barreled, 16-caliber hunting weapon and one 4.5-caliber pneumatic rifle were discovered in the bedroom.

Additionally, inside the car's garage, 160 pieces of 5.6-caliber shotgun ammunition, 33 semi-finished shotgun shells, 1,500 shotgun shells, and 500 capsules were found and seized as evidence.

Following this discovery, K.M. has been the subject of a criminal investigation by the investigative unit under the DIA of Rishton district, based on part 1 of Article 248 of the Criminal Code. Investigations are ongoing.

It is worth noting that earlier in Jizzakh, an individual was arrested for attempting to sell a hunting weapon for 1.2 million soums.
