Father of three sentenced to 16 years for wife’s murder in Fergana

In the Fergana region, a man killed his sleeping wife after dreaming that she had been unfaithful to him. The incident was reported by “Bu Kun.”

According to the details, the couple had gone to bed as usual on the night of the incident, with no arguments or conflicts between them. At 4:30 a.m., the man woke up from a dream in which he saw his wife’s alleged infidelity. He had a habit of keeping a knife under his pillow.

Upon waking, he took the knife and stabbed his wife 13 times. Realizing the gravity of his actions, the man called for medical assistance himself.

When medical professionals arrived, the woman had already passed away. It was revealed that the man’s suspicions of his wife’s infidelity were not new and had previously caused arguments between the couple.

The man, a father of three, was sentenced to 16 years in prison under Article 97 of the Criminal Code (intentional murder).

Earlier, in Namangan’s Pop district, a man was sentenced to life imprisonment for killing his uncle’s wife and her two children.
