The 37th plenary session of the Senate will be convened tomorrow

A decision was made to convene the thirty-seventh plenary session of the Oliy Majlis Senate tomorrow, 2 March.  The press service of the Senate gave information about it.

It is noted that several laws and issues are planned to be discussed at this plenary session.

In particular, the discussion of the following documents was included in the agenda of the plenary meeting:

"About competition";

"About making additions to the Code of Administrative Responsibility in connection with the establishment of liability for obstructing the legal medical activity of a medical worker";

"On making additions and amendments to the Criminal Code and the Code of Administrative Responsibility in connection with the strengthening of responsibility for obstructing the pedagogue from performing their duties";

"About the addition to the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On State Duty";

"On amendments and additions to the Criminal and Criminal Executive Codes of the Republic of Uzbekistan";

"On amending Article 15 of the law "On Consumer Credit" in connection with the improvement of the financial consumer credit system";

"On amendments and additions to some legal documents in connection with taking additional measures to ensure the effective protection of the rights of citizens and business entities in relations with state bodies";

"On making additions and changes to some legal documents of the Republic of Uzbekistan".

At the same time, the senators will consider the activities of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis in 2022 and the priority tasks for 2023 and will hear the information of the director of the National Center for Human Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the state of fulfillment of international obligations in the field of human rights.

In addition, approval of the decisions of the Senate Council is also envisaged at the plenary session.
