Weather across Uzbekistan: Hot and mostly dry conditions expected

Uzbekistan's Hydrometeorological Service (Uzhydromet) has issued the weather forecast for Friday, June 14.

According to the forecast, Tashkent will experience partly cloudy and occasionally variable weather, with no precipitation expected. Winds will blow from the east at speeds of 3 to 8 meters per second. Nighttime temperatures will range from 21 to 23 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs are expected to reach 35 to 37 degrees.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, partly cloudy and occasionally changeable weather is expected, with no precipitation. Winds from the east will reach 7 to 12 meters per second. Temperatures will be between 20 and 25 degrees at night, and 35 to 40 degrees during the day.

The Bukhara and Navoi regions will see partly cloudy skies with no expected precipitation. Easterly winds will blow at 7 to 12 meters per second, occasionally increasing to 13 to 18 meters per second, and may be accompanied by dust in some areas. Night temperatures will range from 22 to 27 degrees, with daytime temperatures between 35 and 40 degrees.

In the Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions, the weather will be mostly slightly cloudy, with occasional variability and no expected precipitation. Winds from the east will range from 7 to 12 meters per second, increasing to 13 to 18 meters per second in some areas, and may carry dust. Nighttime temperatures will be between 20 and 25 degrees, while daytime temperatures will range from 33 to 38 degrees.

In the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, slightly cloudy skies are expected, with no precipitation. Easterly winds will blow at 7 to 12 meters per second, increasing to 13 to 18 meters per second in some areas and potentially accompanied by dust. Temperatures at night will range from 22 to 27 degrees, and during the day from 35 to 40 degrees.

The Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions will also see slightly cloudy and occasionally variable weather, with no precipitation forecasted. Winds will blow from the east at 5 to 10 meters per second. Nighttime temperatures will range from 18 to 23 degrees, and daytime temperatures will reach 33 to 38 degrees.

In the mountainous and foothill regions of the country, weather conditions will be variable. In some areas, rain and thunderstorms are expected, and flash floods are possible. Winds from the east will range from 7 to 12 meters per second, increasing to 12 to 17 meters per second during thunderstorms. Temperatures will be between 10 and 15 degrees at night and 23 to 28 degrees during the day.
