Weather forecast for March 3: Snow and cold conditions in Uzbekistan

Uzhydromet has released its weather forecast for March 3, predicting that snow will fall tomorrow across several regions of Uzbekistan.

In Tashkent city, the sky will be partly cloudy with intermittent snowfall. Fog is likely to develop during the night and early morning. Temperatures are expected to be cold, with nighttime lows between 2 and 4°C and daytime temperatures ranging from 0 to 2°C.

In the Republic of Karakalpakistan and the Khorazm Region, conditions will also be partly cloudy with occasional snowfall. Winds in these regions will shift from the west to the east, blowing at speeds of 7–12 m/s and increasing to 15–20 m/s in some areas. In Qoraqalpog‘iston, nighttime temperatures will be quite cold at 10–15°C, while daytime temperatures will be between 0 and 5°C. In parts of the Xorazm Region, such as Ustyurt, temperatures at night could drop to 15–20°C with daytime readings of 5–10°C.

In the Bukhara and Navai Regions, the weather will remain partly cloudy with occasional snowfall. Winds will be from the west at 7–12 m/s, with gusts reaching 17–22 m/s in certain locations. Nighttime temperatures are forecast to be between 2 and 7°C, and daytime temperatures will be slightly warmer, ranging from 0 to 5°C. In the northern part of Navoiy, however, nighttime temperatures could fall to 5–10°C, with daytime temperatures staying between 0 and 5°C.

The regions of Tashkent, Jizzakh, Samarkand, and Syrdarya will experience partly cloudy skies with intermittent snowfall on March 3 and clear conditions on March 4 and 5. Winds will shift from the west to the east, blowing  7–12 m/s and increasing to 15–20 m/s in some areas. Temperatures in these regions will be low, with nighttime values between 0 and 5°C and daytime temperatures around 2 to 3°C.

In the Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana Regions, the forecast is similar, with partly cloudy conditions and occasional snowfall on March 3, followed by dry weather on March 4 and 5. Winds will come from the west at 7–12 m/s, increasing to 15–20 m/s in certain areas. Both nighttime and daytime temperatures are expected to be in the range of 2 to 3°C.

In the mountainous areas of Uzbekistan, the sky will be partly cloudy with occasional snowfall on March 3, and no precipitation is expected on March 4 and 5. Fog may develop in some locations. Winds will change from a westerly to an easterly direction, blowing at speeds of 7–12 m/s and increasing to 15–20 m/s in some spots. Temperatures in these highland regions are expected to remain between 3 and 8°C throughout the day and night.
