Snow expected in some regions tomorrow

Uzhydromet has released the weather forecast for January 31.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, the weather will be variable with no precipitation expected. Fog may occur in some areas, and icy conditions are possible on roads in certain locations. Westerly winds will reach 7–12 m/s. Temperatures will range from 0–5 degrees below zero at night to 0–5 degrees above zero during the day.

In Bukhara and Navoi regions, variable weather is expected, with rain and fog possible in some areas. Icy conditions may form on roads in certain locations. Winds will blow from the west at 7–12 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from 2 degrees below zero to 3 degrees above zero, while daytime temperatures will reach 6–11 degrees Celsius.

In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, variable weather is expected with no precipitation forecast. Fog may occur in some areas, and icy conditions are possible on roads. Westerly winds will reach 5–10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from 3 degrees below zero to 2 degrees above zero, while daytime temperatures will be between 3 and 8 degrees Celsius.

In the mountainous areas of the country, weather conditions will be variable, with snowfall and fog possible in some locations. Icy conditions may form on roads, and there is a risk of avalanches. Winds will blow from the west at 7–12 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from 4–9 degrees below zero, while daytime temperatures will range from 2 degrees below zero to 3 degrees above zero.

Uzhydromet has also warned that there is a risk of avalanches in the mountainous regions on January 30.
