Number of Uzbeks evacuated from Iran revealed

As of June 16, more than 30 Uzbek citizens have been successfully evacuated from Iran via Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan. This was announced by Ahror Burkhanov, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
“We express our deep gratitude to our Turkmen, Azerbaijani, and Iranian colleagues who provided close assistance in this process,” Burkhanov said.
According to the ministry, all necessary measures are being taken to ensure the safety of Uzbek citizens abroad. Embassies in Iran and Israel are operating around the clock. Citizens currently in these countries are urged to stay in safe places, monitor official updates, and maintain regular contact with diplomatic missions.
