Bekzod Abdurahmanov, the bronze medalist of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in freestyle wrestling from Uzbekistan, participated in an MMA fight.
Today, on June 17, at the Combat FC 4 tournament held in Wilmington, Massachusetts, Abdurahmanov faced off against Deric de Freitas from Brazil.
The fight predominantly took place on the ground, and the referee deemed Freitas’s defense as passive, leading to the fight being stopped in the 1st round. As a result, Abdurahmanov secured a victory ahead of schedule.
