The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has set the exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Uzbek soum effective from October 8.
According to the new rate, the official value of the US dollar has increased by 15.78 soums, reaching 12,038.68 soums.
The euro also rose by 18.40 soums to 14,044.32 soums.
Meanwhile, the Russian ruble went up by 1.87 soums, amounting to 146.62 soums.
