The Central Bank has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currencies against the Uzbek som from 28 March.
The dollar began to strengthen against the som. In Uzbekistan, the official exchange rate of the US dollar increased by 2.96 som. From 28 March, the official rate has been set at 11,486.87 som.
The euro has also increased. 1 euro is set at 12 641.30 som (+22.78).
The ruble has depreciated by 2.23 som to 116.62 sum.
