The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has announced the official exchange rates for foreign currencies against the Uzbek sum, effective January 9.
- The US dollar rose by 14.88 sums, setting a new record at 12,962.98 sums.
- The euro decreased by 124.48 sums to 13,377.80 sums.
- The Russian ruble increased by 2.67 sums, reaching 123.68 sums.
