The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has set the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Uzbek sum effective January 16.
According to the bank, the US dollar fell by 32.05 sums to 11,969.66 sums.
The euro declined by 56.49 sums and was set at 13,927.90 sums.
The Russian ruble dropped by 0.31 sums to 152.56 sums.
The Chinese yuan decreased by 3.37 sums and was fixed at 1,718 sums.
The price of one gram of gold also fell by 14,400 sums to 1,837,900 sums.
According to TradingView data, as of 4:00 p.m. Tashkent time on January 15, the price of bitcoin rose by 17,832,144 sums to reach 1,158,599,200 sums.
