In the Samarkand, Kashkadarya, and Fergana regions, even in some areas of the capital, there may be power outages. This warning was issued by the Ministry of Energy.

According to the forecasts of the experts of the Ministry of Energy, short-term interruptions in the electricity supply may be observed due to the pollution of the air, including the power lines, with small dust particles, as well as, according to the information of the Uzgidromet Center, 70-90 percent of the monthly rainfall will occur in the coming days.

This is because dust and mud settled in the equipment of power transmission networks and transformer points, as well as heavy precipitation, which will cause malfunctions in electrical equipment and lead to technical problems in the transmission of electricity.

In particular, short-term power outages may occur in the Tashkent, Samarkand, Kashkadarya, SyrDarya, and Fergana regions and some parts of the city of Tashkent.

Now to eliminate possible malfunctions special crews are on duty.

"At the moment, we ask consumers to inform the regional power company about electricity supply issues,”- the Ministry said.
