Denmark opens honorary consulate in Uzbekistan

The government of Denmark has decided to open an honorary consulate in Uzbekistan. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It was reported that Uzbek Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov held talks with Danish Foreign Minister Jeppe Sebastian Kofod within the framework of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly.
At the meeting, the parties stressed the importance of organizing mutual visits and practical measures to strengthen the political dialogue. It was proposed signing a protocol on cooperation and consultation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Denmark.
Vladimir Norov noted that the Uzbek side welcomes the decision of the Danish government to open an honorary consulate in Uzbekistan.
It was announced that Tashkent and Copenhagen are ready to continue cooperation within the UN and other international structures.
In order to create favorable conditions for trade and investment relations, the parties agreed to work out issues of the organization of mutual visits of the interested agencies.
