Snowfall and a drop in temperatures will be expected this weekend

Uzhydromet has released its weather forecast for December 6–8, predicting colder conditions and the possibility of snowfall in some regions.  

Today and tomorrow, dry weather will prevail across Uzbekistan, except for some areas in the north, where light precipitation is expected on December 7. Foggy conditions may develop in parts of the country during this period.  

Forecast Highlights:  
- December 6–7:  
  - Temperatures will range from -3°C to +2°C at night and +2°C to +7°C during the day.  
  - Northern regions may experience nighttime lows of -8°C and daytime highs around -3°C.  

- December 8:  
  - Cold air from the north will bring snow to various regions.  
  - Temperatures are expected to drop to 0°C to -5°C at night and during the day, with northern areas reaching lows of -10°C at night.  
  - Wind speeds may increase to 13–18 m/s in some locations, and fog is likely.  

Weather in Tashkent:  
- December 6–7:  
  - No precipitation is expected, but fog may develop at night and in the morning.  
  - Temperatures will range between -1°C and +1°C at night, and +2°C to +5°C during the day.  

- December 8:  
  - Light snowfall and fog are possible.  
  - Temperatures will drop to -2°C to -4°C both at night and during the day.  

Early Next Week:  
Temperatures across Uzbekistan are forecasted to dip significantly:  
- Nighttime lows of -5°C to -10°C (Tashkent: around -6°C to -8°C).  
- Northern regions could see nighttime temperatures plunge to -13°C to -18°C.  
- Daytime temperatures will remain steady but cold.  

Residents are advised to prepare for icy conditions and dress warmly as colder weather sets in.
