Weekend weather forecast across Uzbekistan: Hot and dry conditions

Uzhydromet has published the weather forecast for July 5–7 across Uzbekistan.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, the weather will be partly cloudy and occasionally changeable. No precipitation is expected. Winds will blow from the east at speeds of 7–12 m/s, occasionally increasing to 13–18 m/s with dusty conditions. Temperatures will range from 18–23°C at night and 32–37°C during the day.

In the Bukhara and Navoi regions, the weather will also be partly cloudy and changeable in places, with no expected rainfall. Winds will blow from the east at 7–12 m/s, increasing to 13–18 m/s in some areas, and possibly reaching 20–25 m/s with dust on July 5–6. Temperatures will be 25–30°C at night. Daytime temperatures will reach 38–43°C on July 5, 36–41°C on July 6, and 34–39°C on July 7.

In the Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions, the forecast also predicts partly cloudy and occasionally changeable weather with no precipitation. Winds will blow from the east at 7–12 m/s, increasing to 13–18 m/s in some areas, and up to 20–25 m/s with dust on July 5–6. Night temperatures will be between 22–27°C. Daytime highs will be 38–43°C on July 5, 36–41°C on July 6, and 34–39°C on July 7.

In the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, the weather will be partly cloudy and occasionally changeable, with no expected precipitation. Winds will blow from the east at 7–12 m/s, occasionally reaching 13–18 m/s with dust. Night temperatures will range from 25–30°C. During the day, temperatures will climb to 41–46°C on July 5, 39–44°C on July 6, and 38–43°C on July 7.

In the Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, partly cloudy and changeable weather is forecast with no precipitation. Winds will blow from the east at 5–10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be 22–27°C, while daytime highs will reach 37–42°C on July 5–6 and 35–40°C on July 7.

In the mountainous regions, the weather will be partly cloudy and changeable in places, without precipitation. Winds will blow from the east at 7–12 m/s, increasing to 13–18 m/s in some locations. Night temperatures will range from 17–22°C. Daytime temperatures will be 30–35°C on July 5 and 28–33°C on July 6–7.
