Weather to cool down with rain and snow during holidays  

Uzhydromet has issued the weather forecast for Uzbekistan for February 14-16.  

According to the forecast, no precipitation is expected across the country on February 15, except in some areas of the Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, and Samarkand regions in the afternoon.  

On February 16, rain and snow are expected in most regions of Uzbekistan, excluding the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the northwestern regions of the Khorezm region.  

Temperatures on February 14-15 are expected to reach 7-10 degrees Celsius during the day. However, on February 16, daytime temperatures will drop to 3-6 degrees Celsius. Night temperatures will range from 0 to 5 degrees Celsius. Easterly winds will shift to the west at speeds of 7-12 m/s, with gusts of 13-18 m/s in some areas. Fog is also likely in some parts of the country.  

In Tashkent, no precipitation is expected on February 15, but occasional rain and snow are forecasted for February 16. The wind will shift from east to west at speeds of 3-8 m/s. Daytime temperatures will be 7-10 degrees Celsius on February 14-15, dropping to 3-6 degrees Celsius on February 16. Night temperatures will be between 0 and 3 degrees Celsius, with fog expected at night and in the morning.
