This financial aid, amounting to twice the BCA, is outlined in a draft government decision titled "On measures to further improve the system of employment of citizens of Uzbekistan abroad in an organized manner," published for discussion on the normative legal documents portal on July 12 of this year.

Starting October 1, 2024, families of breadwinners who have migrated abroad for labor purposes, funded by the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Employment Fund, will be registered in the "Unified Register of Social Protection" information system. These families will receive one-time financial assistance amounting to twice the BCA.

Additionally, disabled family members listed in the "Unified Register of Social Protection" or included in the "Iron Register," "Women's Register," or "Youth Register" of citizens who have gone abroad for labor will be provided with medicines, wheelchairs, hearing aids, and one-time financial assistance equal to five times the BCA for the purchase of orthopedic products.

Family members of labor migrants who have reached retirement age or have group I and II disabilities living in Uzbekistan can receive a one-time free pass to sanatorium and preventive treatment institutions within the trade union system. Following recommendations from youth leaders in neighborhoods, children of labor migrants listed in the "Unified Register of Social Protection" or included in the "Iron Register," "Women's Register," or "Youth Register" will be granted free passes to seasonal camps.

To receive financial assistance and referrals from the fund, family members of labor migrants must ensure the migrants are registered in the "Work Abroad" software complex and apply electronically through this system.
