In Andijan, the director of a railway station was caught with a bribe

The head of a station who demanded 1,500 US dollars from a businessman was identified in Andijan.  This was reported by the Department under the General Prosecutor’s Office.

It is noted that the head of the “Andijan-1” station of the “Kokan Regional Railway Junction” in the Andijan region, “P.t.”  took advantage of the concession granted to the LLC for railway expenses in supplying coal to the population at low prices.  The LLC promised to help the employer in using the concessions.  He was caught with physical evidence while receiving 1,500 US dollars in return.

In connection with this situation, a criminal case was initiated under Article 168 (fraud) and Article 28, 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code.

“At the moment, investigative actions are being carried out regarding the situation,” the message said.
