13294On March 30, a Spark car struck a traffic police officer in the Andijan region, according to the Road Traffic Safety Service.
The incident occurred at the Orikzor traffic police station in the Andijan district.
According to reports, the driver, born in 1989, lost control of his Spark while driving. As a result, he crashed into the rear of another Spark that was stopped at a red light. The driver then fled the scene, prompting the victim to contact the Internal Affairs Bureau and report the incident.
Traffic police officers attempted to stop the fleeing vehicle. However, despite their signals, the driver refused to comply with lawful orders. While continuing to move, he struck a traffic police officer before driving away.
“The driver of the Spark was intoxicated and had already been deprived of his driver’s license,” the report states.
Authorities have prepared case documents and submitted them to the court for further proceedings.
It should be noted that in a separate incident in the Akdarya district of the Samarkand region, a Cobalt driver disregarded a traffic police officer’s orders and dragged him along while driving.
