A government official was stabbed in Andijan

News about the stabbing of an official working in the Khanabad city hall of Andijan region has spread on social networks. The regional prosecutor’s office gave an official response to the situation.
It was clarified that the incident took place on 15 April of this year in the city of Khanabad, Andijan region. In connection with the situation, a criminal case was initiated under Article 25, Part 1 of Article 97 of the Criminal Code.
In connection with the criminal case, 1 person was involved as a suspect and detained in accordance with Article 221 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
At present, the Khanabad City Prosecutor’s Office is conducting an investigation into the criminal case.
