Zoo worker died after being mauled by a bear

 On 3 January, news spread on social networks that a bear attacked and killed a worker in the zoo in Bogishamol daha of Andijan city.  The Andijan Regional Bureau of Internal Affairs made an official response to the situation.

It was reported that on 3 January this year at 16:00 p.m., a worker in the Andijan Zoo belonging to “Usmanabad Fayzi” LLC, located in the territory of the “27th Anniversary of Independence” MFY of Khojaabad district, entered the bear’s cage to feed him, when the animal threw him and bit him on the neck.  As a result, he suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.

This case was duly registered by the Khojaabad district IIB, and the incident site was inspected by the district IIB operative-investigative group.

Forensic examination was appointed to determine the severity of the citizen’s injuries and the cause of his death.

Currently, the investigation team of the Khojaabad district IIB is conducting an investigation into the matter.
