Traffic will be stopped on the joint bridge over the Amudarya

Traffic will come to a halt on the Amudarya joint bridge from May 7th to May 9th, as announced by the "Uzbekistan Railways" joint-stock company.

Additional maintenance work is scheduled for the railway crossing between Qipchoq and Blokpost stations in the Amudarya district. Consequently, motor vehicle traffic will be suspended on the joint bridge from 2:00 PM on May 7th to 2:00 PM on May 9th.

Motor vehicles will be rerouted via the Qipchoq pontoon bridge during this period.
