The Fatwa Center of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan has announced the prescribed amounts for zakat nisab, fitr sadaqah, and fidya for the month of Ramadan 2025 AD / 1446 Hijri. This was reported by the board’s press service.

According to the decision:

- Zakat nisab – The Fatwa Center has set the zakat nisab for this year’s Ramadan at 61 million 200 thousand sums, based on the value of approximately 85 grams of 585-proof gold. Accordingly, any individual possessing at least this amount in cash or commercial assets—beyond their essential needs—must allocate one-fortieth (2.5%) of their total wealth to those eligible for zakat.

- Zakat al-Fitr – The prescribed amounts for Zakat al-Fitr are as follows:
  - ≈ 2 kg of wheat flour – 10,000 sums
  - ≈ 4 kg of barley – 16,000 sums
  - ≈ 2 kg of raisins – 110,000 sums
  - ≈ 4 kg of dates – 180,000 sums

Each individual must give one of these four items or its equivalent monetary value as Zakat al-Fitr, based on their financial capacity.

- Fidya – The amount of fidya for one day of missed fasting is equivalent to the Zakat al-Fitr amount. Therefore, a person obligated to give fidya must donate one of the four prescribed food items or its value, according to their means.
