In 2024, Uzbekistan welcomed 24,545 tourists from the United States, according to the Statistics Agency. This marks a significant increase compared to the previous year, with 7,720 more American visitors than in 2023.
The primary reasons for travel to Uzbekistan by U.S. citizens in 2024 were as follows:
- Tourism: 24,545 people
- Business: 2,861 people
- Visiting relatives: 2,517 people
- Business (duplicate entry): 397 people
- Study: 340 people
- Treatment: 12 people
Additionally, between January and October 2024, nearly 6.5 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes, further highlighting the country’s growing appeal as a global tourist destination.
